After applying and waiting for a year I found out somewhere along the line they lost all my paperwork. I found that out in December 2007. But it was awesome to see God's hand through it all. I was bummed to say the least and trying to figure out what God was doing, but in March 2008, my Grandma passed away. It was such a blessing to be home during this time, I have never had to experience someone close going home and it was difficult being there, I could not imagine being in a foreign country. 

After praying and waiting on God, and seeking the council from family and friends, I decided to apply for a tourist visa and go down and take a school with YWAM (Youth With A Mission). But the down side is I would only be able to spend a total of six months in Brasil. But I would be able to finish the school and have three months to be open to what God wants me to do.
